Latara Group is developing a lithium tolling and refining facility purpose-built to convert spodumene concentrate into battery-grade lithium compounds under a transparent, fixed-fee model — giving artisanal and mid-tier miners a compliant, efficient pathway to legally export lithium.

Current status: no refinery has been built yet. Latara Group has secured a 102-hectare mining claim in Buhera, Manicaland Province, Zimbabwe — directly adjacent to the Sabi Star mine — to supply feedstock. We are actively raising capital to fund exploration, feasibility studies, and construction of the processing facility.

OUR PLANNED PROCESS

Two established process stages. No novel chemistry.

Our planned flowsheet uses two proven, well-established industry processes rather than novel or unproven chemistry — producing a beneficiation-compliant intermediate product the market already buys.

01

DMS & flotation

Crush raw pegmatite ore and upgrade it to high-grade spodumene concentrate, maximizing metallurgical recovery.

02

Sulphate roast & leach

A standard, well-established hydrometallurgical process converting concentrate into high-purity lithium sulphate.

03

Export-ready lithium sulphate

A beneficiation-compliant intermediate product, ready for battery manufacturers in the EU, US, Canada, and Japan.

Latara Group claim location in the Mutare Greenstone Belt

PROJECT & CLAIM

Buhera, Manicaland Province, Zimbabwe

Our 102-hectare claim sits within the Mutare Greenstone Belt, directly adjacent to the producing Sabi Star lithium mine. The site shows confirmed zoned pegmatite geology, and no drilling has taken place to date — exploration is a core use of the capital we’re currently raising.
